Asposia has been watched over by the flute nose family for hundreds of years. They add light and life to the roly-poly world behind closed doors. Emil, who buys and sells weird things, has lied to the Assasinians and made them think that the family is working with evil forces. Really, no one knows what this strange family does all day long. Robert, who is the heir to the flute nose throne, is the only person who could stop Emil from being bad.
For three years, though, he has been scared to death. He sets out on an adventure to find the famous Last Wind Monk, but he has a lot of energy and doesn’t really know what he’s doing. He does have some great friends, though. Peck is loyal but can’t fly, and Laura is a rebel who can fly, but only when she wants to. By the way, Laura is Robert’s love with a capital L. The strange Mama Dola gives Robert one last glimmer of hope; she seems to know more about his future than Robert himself.
