This is DayZ, this is your story: There are 60 people on a server, and their only goal is to stay alive as long as possible, no matter what. DayZ is a realistic, open world sandbox simulation game. There aren’t any simple tips, locations, built-in guides, or other forms of help. Since there are no save games or extra lives, every choice you make can be fatal. You lose everything and have to start over if you fail.
It’s never safe to look for supplies or roam the open world in DayZ; you never know what’s around the next turn. It’s easy for hostile player interactions or just struggling through bad weather to turn into intense, nerve-wracking times where you feel real emotions. If you meet a nice survivor in DayZ, on the other hand, you could become friends for life.
