A New Open World Warriors Game: With the addition of an open world mode that lets you move through the game in different ways, the huge country of China is shown on a single map for the first time in the series. The exciting “one vs. thousands” action of the Warriors series and the famous characters from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms story are still there, but the freedom of an open world stage makes Warriors feel completely different.
Key tasks move the story of the player character forward. There are also many other tasks from different areas, like Regular Missions that change the Key Missions and requests from other characters. Depending on which missions are chosen, the case will always be different. There are many fights on the map, and players can use different strategies and tactics, such as “attacking head on,” “launching a surprise attack from an elevated position,” or “infiltrating at night.” There are many ways to enjoy the huge world of the Three Kingdoms.
The map has beautiful graphics and shows many different parts of China, such as snow plains, jungles, and deserts, which show how the temperature and time have changed. Key towns and checkpoints, like Luoyang and Hulao Gate, as well as famous places, like the Yellow River and Mt. Song, are copied, which makes the game world feel more real.
A Redefined Action System: The new State Combo System builds on the base Warriors action system by responding to what’s going on around it. The three main parts are “Trigger Attacks” that change an enemy’s state, “Reactive Attacks” that change based on the enemy’s state, and “Flow Attacks” that change based on the enemy’s state.
