Redout is a tribute to the old racing monsters such as F-Zero, WipeOut, Rollcage: The goal is to make it a rigid, fast, tough, and rewarding driving experience that is full of the dizziness that is at the heart of arcade racing. The floating system and driving models are based on physics. The ship will feel a different force at each turn, hill, hard brake, acceleration, and turn and twist of the track. A clean, low-polygon style combines meshes and terrains with the newest, most advanced lighting and shading effects in the Unreal Engine 4. This makes for beautiful, easily recognizable looks. The windy coastlines, creepy frozen landscapes, and vast desert plains make up the melancholy, dystopian atmosphere of a mostly empty Earth, which is the setting for the fastest, tense, and most beautiful future racing crashes.
