During their previous journey, a group of brave adventurers foiled the unified orc tribes’ effort to invade the Thorwal region. Now that Half the Svellt Valley is in ashes and Lowangen is under occupation, the orcs have regrouped and assaulted other, more susceptible regions. The party receives a summons to Kvirasim from an elf diplomat. The Salamander Stone is an artefact that must be found if the dwarves and elves are to fight together against a shared foe.
However, nothing is as easy as it looks: Someone else makes it apparent that not everyone in the nation is in favour of the two races working together as the group gets closer to an abandoned dwarven mine that might have the answers to their queries.
